The last two weeks I have played some concerts in different pubs in Central Switzerland. The Tell’s Pub in Küssnacht was not unknown to me since I had already performed there several times with blues musician „Slyd Blvd“. There is always a relaxed atmosphere in Tell’s Pub and I feel very comfortable there because I know most of the people well.

The Tell’s Pub doesn´t bear the name for nothing, because it´s very close to the Hohlen Gasse. The Swiss national hero Wilhelm Tell is said to have shot Landlord Gessler in Hohlen Gasse. He has to come through this hollow alley, there is no other way to Küssnacht, Friedrich Schiller stated in his drama.
I had other gigs in Meggen and Kerns, and I noticed for the first time that many Swiss people like Austropop. I thought I would never drift into this genre. But I’ve found that some Austro songs are not that bad.
All in all, I had a very good time and I´m sure that these were not my last concerts in the neighboring country of mine. But now I’m back in the studio and will work on my new songs. My third album will be released in the next few months.
