Before I started traveling I was often asked: „Aren’t you afraid to travel around the world alone as a street musician?“ My answer: „I’ve been touring the world many times with the guitar. This is not unusual for me. But this time the bureaucracy bothered me. To leave the system cage is not easy.“

Another questions: „What’s your reason to perform on street?“ or „Do you think that you will become famous with this tour?“ Simple answer: „Everyone has to find his personal reason in life. I like to travel and I like music. You don’t need to be famous or big concerts to be creative. The street is my stage and it’s a fantastic place for art, full of energy and incredible moments.“

The last question I was asked a few days ago: „Can you live on music?“ Answer: „Living exclusively is difficult, but for sure I live for music.“

Vor meinem Reiseantritt wurde mir oft die Frage gestellt: „Hast du keine Angst, alleine als Strassenmusiker um die Welt zu reisen?“ Die Antwort war: „Ich bin schon oft mit der Gitarre auf der Welt unterwegs gewesen, das ist nichts Ungewohntes für mich. Allerdings was mir diesesmal vor dem Abflug schwer zu schaffen machte, war die Bürokratie um die geeignete Ablösung aus dem Alltagssystem zu schaffen.“

Auch kamen die Fragen: „Was bringt das?“ oder „Glaubst du, dass du diesesmal den Durchbruch schaffst?“ Einfache Antwort: „Was etwas bringt, muss sowieso jeder mit sich selbst ausmachen. Bzgl. Durchbruch: den hat man als Musiker oder Künstler meistens automatisch. Die Frage ist halt, ob der Durchbruch nach unten oder oben geht. In den meisten Fällen geht der erste künstlerische Durchbruch nach unten, aber ich denke, dass das ganz gut ist, weil ohne festen Boden ist man beweglicher und kreativer.“

Die letzte Frage die mir vor einigen Tagen gestellt wurde, war jene, ob ich von der Musik leben könne. Antwort: „Davon ausschließlich zu leben ist schwierig, auf alle Fälle lebe ich für die Musik.“

13.06. Traun (AUT) Reisevortrag + Konzert im Volksheim Traun

On 13.02.2019 I’m traveling again. This time around the world as a street musician. I’ll release new songs from my second album „Dream Awake“. The „Dream Awake Tour 2019“ starts in South India, where I will visit my friends and bandmates from Ashram (see: side project www.ashram-music.com). The special thing about this tour is that every three weeks a new song is released on different media platforms. Like for example Instagram or on his homepage www.borisart.eu, as well as videos at LLTV (see: www.linzlandtv.at). At the moment I’m packing my things and get the equipment ready.

Soon it starts again. Sun, music and freedom!

Am 13.02.2019 geh ich wieder auf Reisen. Diesmal rund um die Welt als Straßenmusiker. Dabei veröffentliche ich neue Songs meines zweiten Albums „Dream Awake“. Die „Dream Awake Tour 2019“ startet in Südindien, dort werde ich meine Freunde und Bandkollegen von Ashram (siehe: side project www.ashram-music.com) besuchen. Das besondere bei dieser Tour ist, dass meine neuen Lieder im drei Wochenzyklus auf verschiedenen medialen Plattformen, wie zum Beispiel Instagram oder auf meiner Homepage www.borisart.eu, wie auch Videos bei LLTV (siehe: www.linzlandtv.at), zu hören und zu sehen sein werden. Momentan packe ich meine Sachen und bringe das Equipment auf Vordermann.

Bald geht’s wieder los. Sonne, Musik und Freiheit!
