Stopover in Vienna: Guest Appearance with Barbara Stöckl & Recording Session with Ashram (EN)

On my journey, I made a stop in Vienna – for a very special reason: I was invited as a guest to Barbara Stöckl’s talk show. In an engaging and inspiring roundtable discussion, I had the pleasure of conversing alongside Richard David Precht, Christoph Badelt, Teresa Vogl, and Lilian Klebow. The show will be broadcast on February 19, 2026, on ORF 2. More information: STÖCKL – ORF 2 – tv.ORF.at

A particularly memorable moment arose during my exchange with Barbara Stöckl herself. Having interviewed Falco, aka Johann Hölzel, twice before, I took the opportunity to ask her how she experienced Falco as a person. Her reflections offered fresh insights into one of Austria’s most iconic and influential musical figures.

Following the TV appearance, the day continued seamlessly with a completely different yet equally special experience: a recording session inside a church. Together with Christian “Cermy” Cermak and German Schwarz, we recorded organ tracks for our fourth album. Our aim was to authentically capture the unique, powerful sound of the historic church organ and integrate it into new Ashram songs. The result is an exciting fusion of spiritual depth, musical tradition, and modern soundscapes—enhanced by the extraordinary acoustics and atmosphere of the sacred space.
