Unfortunately my time in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands is already over. These islands are beautiful and I will definitely go back there soon. Soon, an international airport will be built on Port Blair, which should be finished in 2021. Then the quiet island will certainly change. But everything changes from time to time. For example, the Nicobar islands were an Austrian colony between 1778 and 1784, and today Austria has nothing to do with these islands.

Likewise I met my fellow and musician friend, songwriter, artist and manager Thomas Packer, with whom I wrote songs like „Rock the show“, „Ready for you“ or „I’m free – you can’t catch me“ for my first album. It was very nice to meet him again. In my next VLog you see us playing a concert at the beach together.
I stayed in a simple beach hut on the island. There were several cabins next to each other with sea view. This short avenue was called „Boom Shanka Avenue“. There lived a few Israelis, a Frenchman, an Englishman and myself. It was always very quiet and comfortable, in the evening we made music from time to time.

Troubles in the morning
One morning, I got up very early to watch the sunrise. I went alone to the beach and enjoyed the silence and the special moment of the sunrise in this unique place. Later I wanted to go back to my hut, but all people got together and discussed. Two guys have behaved totally crazy. One was laying on the ground screaming loudly, another was beating a policeman (or paramedic). I had no idea what was going on at that moment. The two boys were cleaners who cleaned the grounds around the huts every morning. Shortly thereafter, the boys were removed with handcuffs. Of course, all the people on „Boom Shanka Avenue“ were already awake and they wondered what had happened.
Some people soon noticed that they missed spirits they stored in front of their huts (in an icebox). We have also noticed that our French neighbor apparently left the previous evening (or early in the morning). It did not take long for some travelers to understand what happened. According to stories, „Marx“ had deliberately left a special mango juice for the residents of „Boom Shanka Avenue“, which would be provided for 24-30 people. However, this bottle in front of his hut was empty. Some people immediately understood and they informed the cabin manager and the police in fairness. The two guys are likely to have completely drunk the mango juice in their cleaning action. After Prasanth (hut manager) and the police knew why the boys were so blown by the wind, they immediately were transported to the hospital in Port Blair.
Police investigation – thing only happening to me…
The cabin manager has informed all residents that the police are now likely to come in the afternoon to search all the accommodations and to talk to all of us. There was an unusually tense mood. Just arrived here a few days earlier, I thought to myself that this could only happen to me again, that I am in such a precarious situation. Anyway, I had nothing to hide and we waited to see what would happen. Above all, we were very worried about the young cleaners. Some „experts“ have claimed that the two guys are not going to recover completely from this wave. The tension was very high at this moment. Very unusual for this otherwise heavenly place.

However, the police did not arrive and the next day we heard that one of the boys had already been released from the hospital. The relief was great for all of us. The second boy left the hospital the next day. However, both of them did not come to work, but were at home and slept. Everyone was happy, as some had already created very dramatic scenarios. A few days later, I was able to talk to one of the cleaners. Unfortunately, he could barely speak English, but told me he thought that he was going to die. Apparently his head began to rotate so fast that he thought his head would take off. Fortunately, everything went well and hopefully the two will recover completely.
Happy end and off I go
I think that in the future, the boys will stop drinking from any bottles standing around. Likewise, I have considered, what would have happened to me, if I had accidentally drunk from this bottle… What the boys must have experienced was talk for days later. A resident named the accident „mango action“. Thank god for the happy end! I’m off to Hongkong and later Australia!
