Boris Seidl sets off on a world tour – with music, freedom, and adventure
Boris Seidl, a musician for decades and founder of the Indian-Austrian band Ashram (link: www.ashram-music.com), is embarking on a new, very special journey: a world tour – open, free, inspired by curiosity and a zest for life. Without a fixed route, without rigid plans – because for him, one thing is central: the idea of freedom. The first stop takes him to Brazil, where rhythms, cultures, and encounters await him. But that’s just the beginning. For Boris, traveling means not only physical movement, but a conscious immersion into the unknown – be it musical, human, or cultural. Another extraordinary aspect of this journey is Boris‘ second passion: curling. As a long-time curling coach, he carries the spirit of this special sport with him – and takes it to places where you might not expect it: Argentina, for example. There, curling is just beginning to establish itself as a sport – a challenge that Boris is enthusiastically taking on. This journey is not an escape, but a conscious turning toward the world. Music, exchange, and adventure—these are the coordinates that guide Boris. Everything else remains open. Entirely in his style. Only he knows where tomorrow will take him—or perhaps not even that. But one thing is certain: this world tour is not just a geographical journey, but a deeply personal, artistic, and human development. We can look forward to seeing what sounds, stories, and encounters Boris Seidl will bring back from around the world on his A to Be Tour 2025/26.
